THYROID DYSREGULATION
Thyroid dysfunction affects up to 1 in 8 women, yet symptoms are frequently overlooked or dismissed. When thyroid signalling is impaired, metabolism slows, energy drops, and fat loss becomes increasingly difficult - regardless of effort.
At PKLD, we commonly see women stuck in metabolic shutdown long before they receive meaningful support.
Persistent fatigue, unexplained weight gain, feeling cold, hair thinning, constipation, mood changes, and reduced training tolerance.
THE PKLD APPROACH
We support thyroid function by restoring the nutritional and metabolic foundations it depends on:
-
Adequate total energy intake to remove metabolic suppression
-
High-protein nutrition to protect lean mass
-
Targeted micronutrient support (iodine, selenium, iron, zinc, B-vitamins)
-
Anti-inflammatory, whole-food nutrition
-
Training programmed to respect recovery capacity - not exhaust it
Through weekly symptom tracking, thyroid-appropriate training, and clinical education, we remove the stressors that keep the thyroid suppressed and rebuild metabolic resilience.
The women below didn’t just “push harder.”
They restored energy, improved tolerance to training, and finally saw progress once their thyroid was supported - not ignored.
Why This Works

CHRIS
Before launching PKLD Conditioning, Chris spent years working as a paramedic - where he witnessed firsthand how many people, especially women, were silently struggling with hormone-related issues like PCOS, endometriosis, menopause, and unexplained weight gain. He saw a clear gap in support and education around these conditions, and he knew something needed to change.
Driven by a desire to make a real impact beyond emergency care, Chris shifted his focus to preventative, hormone-aware coaching. Today, he combines his medical background with in-depth training in metabolic and hormonal health to support women and men through highly personalised programs. His mission is to help clients understand their bodies, feel seen, and finally get the answers and guidance they’ve been missing.

BECK
Beck’s journey into women’s health coaching started with her own. She was deep into competition prep when COVID hit, and like many, her routine , and sense of self - fell apart. It was during that time she was diagnosed with PCOS, forcing her to confront a whole new side of health beyond aesthetics and performance. That experience changed everything.
Now, Beck is committed to helping women feel stronger, more supported, and more in control of their bodies. Her coaching is rooted in empathy and lived experience - because she knows firsthand what it’s like to feel out of sync with your body and unsure where to turn. Today, she works with clients to rebuild confidence, improve hormone health, and find sustainable strength - physically and mentally.
