CHRIS

Before launching PKLD Conditioning, Chris spent years working as a paramedic - where he witnessed firsthand how many people, especially women, were silently struggling with hormone-related issues like PCOS, endometriosis, menopause, and unexplained weight gain. He saw a clear gap in support and education around these conditions, and he knew something needed to change.

Driven by a desire to make a real impact beyond emergency care, Chris shifted his focus to preventative, hormone-aware coaching. Today, he combines his medical background with in-depth training in metabolic and hormonal health to support women and men through highly personalised programs. His mission is to help clients understand their bodies, feel seen, and finally get the answers and guidance they’ve been missing.

BECK

Beck’s journey into women’s health coaching started with her own. She was deep into competition prep when COVID hit, and like many, her routine , and sense of self - fell apart. It was during that time she was diagnosed with PCOS, forcing her to confront a whole new side of health beyond aesthetics and performance. That experience changed everything.

Now, Beck is committed to helping women feel stronger, more supported, and more in control of their bodies. Her coaching is rooted in empathy and lived experience - because she knows firsthand what it’s like to feel out of sync with your body and unsure where to turn. Today, she works with clients to rebuild confidence, improve hormone health, and find sustainable strength - physically and mentally.

THE PKLD STORY

PKLD Conditioning was founded in late 2024 to address a critical gap in women’s health - specifically for women navigating metabolic dysfunction, chronic health conditions, and hormonal imbalances. Traditional models of care often fall short: long waitlists for GPs and dietitians, rushed appointments, generic advice, and little to no follow-up. Many women are left feeling dismissed, unsupported, and unsure of what to do next. We knew there had to be a better way.

At PKLD, we’ve reimagined what clinical care can look like - by integrating evidence-based nutrition, strength training, and weekly one-on-one support into one streamlined service. We deliver the kind of consistent, high-touch accountability that typical medical systems lack. No more waiting months for a referral. No more one-size-fits-all advice. Our clients receive tailored interventions and real-time guidance every step of the way.

Since our launch, we’ve helped over 150 Canberra-based women gain control of their health, rebuild their strength, and finally feel seen. Our programs are designed for conditions that are too often overlooked or misunderstood - such as insulin resistance, PCOS, menopause and perimenopause, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, and thyroid dysfunction. We don’t just treat symptoms—we help you understand the why behind them.

This is more than personal training. And it’s more than clinical nutrition. It’s the missing link in women’s health: a comprehensive, compassionate, and practical solution that empowers you to make real, lasting change - physically, mentally, and hormonally.

When you join PKLD, you’re not just getting a coach—you’re joining a community of like-minded women who are on the same path to reclaiming their health. We walk beside you from day one, providing weekly education, structure, and support - so you’re never left trying to figure it out alone.

ABOUT US

WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT

At PKLD Conditioning, we’re not here to give you another generic plan or tick a box. We’re here to change the way women experience health care - especially those dealing with complex, chronic, and often misunderstood conditions like insulin resistance, PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, and menopause-related symptoms.

We don’t follow a template - because your symptoms, history, and lifestyle don’t either. Instead, we offer a clinically integrated, highly personalised service that bridges the gap between healthcare and real-world results.

We go deeper. We ask better questions. We hold space for the long haul—so you’re not just “doing a program,” you’re transforming the way you live in your body.

  • Most fitness programs ignore your hormones. Most clinical providers ignore your lifestyle. At PKLD, we combine clinical nutrition expertise with functional strength coaching - so you get a program that supports your physiology, not one that works against it.

  • Sick of 3-month wait times for a 15-minute appointment? So were we. That’s why our clients receive weekly contact, hands-on coaching, and consistent accountability - so progress doesn’t stall between check-ins.

  • You’re not just a diagnosis. We look at the full metabolic and hormonal picture, and help you connect the dots between your training, nutrition, sleep, mood, and energy - so you finally understand what’s going on and why.

  • No cookie-cutter meal plans. No starvation tactics. Our approach is rooted in behaviour change, education, and sustainability—designed to support long-term health, not short-term weight loss fads.

  • You’re not doing this alone. Our clients are part of a supportive, like-minded community of women who’ve felt the same frustrations and are on the same path toward better health - with expert coaching by their side every step of the way.

During that time, she was diagnosed with PCOS, forcing her to confront an entirely new side of health beyond aesthetics and performance. That experience changed everything.

As a registered nurse, Beck brings both clinical knowledge and personal understanding to her work.
