THE PKLD APPROACH

We prioritise metabolic restoration before fat loss.

This includes:

  • Increasing energy intake to remove metabolic suppression

  • Protein-forward nutrition to restore muscle and glucose regulation

  • Strategic fats and low-GI carbohydrates to support hormones and insulin sensitivity

  • Structured meal timing to stabilise blood sugar and stress hormones

  • Strength training programmed to rebuild metabolism - not break it down

CHRIS

Before launching PKLD Conditioning, Chris spent years working as a paramedic - where he witnessed firsthand how many people, especially women, were silently struggling with hormone-related issues like PCOS, endometriosis, menopause, and unexplained weight gain. He saw a clear gap in support and education around these conditions, and he knew something needed to change.

Driven by a desire to make a real impact beyond emergency care, Chris shifted his focus to preventative, hormone-aware coaching. Today, he combines his medical background with in-depth training in metabolic and hormonal health to support women and men through highly personalised programs. His mission is to help clients understand their bodies, feel seen, and finally get the answers and guidance they’ve been missing.

BECK

Beck’s journey into women’s health coaching started with her own. She was deep into competition prep when COVID hit, and like many, her routine , and sense of self - fell apart. It was during that time she was diagnosed with PCOS, forcing her to confront a whole new side of health beyond aesthetics and performance. That experience changed everything.

Now, Beck is committed to helping women feel stronger, more supported, and more in control of their bodies. Her coaching is rooted in empathy and lived experience - because she knows firsthand what it’s like to feel out of sync with your body and unsure where to turn. Today, she works with clients to rebuild confidence, improve hormone health, and find sustainable strength - physically and mentally.

Weight plateaus on low calories, rapid regain, chronic fatigue, disrupted sleep, cycle irregularities, poor training tolerance, brain fog, mood instability, and digestive issues.

METABOLIC SYNDROME & LOW ENERGY DIET RECOVERY

Many women arrive at PKLD stuck in a dual state of metabolic dysfunction and under-fuelling. Metabolic Syndrome and Low Energy Availability (LEA) often coexist - quietly driving fatigue, inflammation, hormonal disruption, gut issues, and weight resistance, while remaining largely undiagnosed.

Years of dieting, skipped meals, carbohydrate fear, and chronic stress suppress metabolic function. At the same time, insulin resistance, inflammation, and poor glucose regulation continue to worsen. The result is the “stuck” state so many women describe - exhausted, inflamed, hungry or numb to hunger, and unable to lose weight despite extreme effort.

Through weekly clinical check-ins, micronutrient and amino acid correction, and fully integrated strength training, we correct the drivers of metabolic dysfunction - not just the outcome on the scale.

The women below didn’t need more discipline.

They needed their metabolism restored - and once it was, progress finally became predictable.
